2021 Lower Paxton Township Decorating Contest

 Our rules and guidelines are simple - we will be judging all decorations based on pictures and the categories listed below. This contest is open to EVERYONE (RESIDENTIAL ONLY). Living in a diverse township where residents celebrate many different holidays, we hope that our contest will showcase our diversity this holiday season. Our only other rule is that decorations should be tasteful and non-offensive.  

New for 2021, we will be judging decorations based on three categories. There will be a winner and runner up selected for each category. The categories are as follows:

• Door Only - judging in this category will score all decorations on your front door ONLY.

• Overall House - judging in this category will score all decorations, including your door, that are on display on the front of your home.

• Best Theme Representation - judging in this category will score the best representation of our 2021 Christkindlmarkt theme, snowflakes.

 To submit your house you will need to:

• Decorate

• Snap two pictures 

• Submit your information and photos between November 24th and December 15th by going to https://forms.gle/vogy96ecEhJt57wRA    (Application will not open until November 24th)

• After December the 15th, entries will be judged to select the semi finalist list. 

• Semi finalist list will be posted on the Lower Paxton Christkindlmarkt Facebook page to provide for community input in selecting the winners. 

• On Sunday, December 19th, judges will visit the top two entries for each category. The winning entry and runner up for each category will be announced that day. 

• All entries will be posted the week of December 19th.
